Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of HoverBoard, a macOS presentation overlay application published by codeonholiday. By downloading or using HoverBoard, you agree to these Terms.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. The Service

HoverBoard provides on-screen drawing, annotation, whiteboard, session capture, and related presentation tools for macOS. HoverBoard is a utility overlay and does not guarantee compatibility with every app, display configuration, or video-conferencing platform.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, codeonholiday grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use HoverBoard on Mac computers that you own or control.

You may try each feature for a limited trial period before purchasing. HoverBoard Pro unlocks unlimited use, Sessions, launch at login, and other features described on our website and in the app. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, unless we state otherwise at checkout.

3. Purchases and Refunds

Purchases are processed by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy). Prices shown at checkout are final unless a discount is explicitly applied.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If HoverBoard is not right for you, contact [email protected] within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the screen captures, drawings, whiteboards, and exports you create with HoverBoard. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture, annotate, and share any content shown on your screen.

6. Updates

We may release updates, bug fixes, and new features. Your license includes updates for the major version described at purchase, as stated on our website at the time of sale. Sparkle may download and install updates when you approve them or when automatic checks are enabled.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

HoverBoard is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, codeonholiday will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill arising from your use of HoverBoard — including presentation failures, lost recordings, or compatibility issues with third-party software.

Our total liability for any claim relating to HoverBoard will not exceed the amount you paid for HoverBoard in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $10 if you have not purchased a license.

9. Termination

You may stop using HoverBoard at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to license validation services if you materially breach these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of HoverBoard after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
