What Mac do I need?

LocalMelody requires macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon. 16 GB RAM is the minimum; 32 GB or more is recommended for higher-quality models and smoother generation.

Does it need an internet connection?

You need internet for the first-time runtime and model downloads, license activation and updates. Generation itself runs locally once setup is complete.

What is included in Free and Pro?

Free supports 15-second generations with automatic controls. Pro Lifetime unlocks longer songs, sound controls, voice reference, lyrics refinement and audio/lyrics export.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase through Lemon Squeezy. The checkout page is the source of truth for the current price and payment terms.

Can I create instrumental music?

Yes. MusicGen is available as an instrumental workflow, while ACE-Step generates music with vocals.

What happens to my prompts and audio?

LocalMelody does not send your prompts, lyrics or generated audio to a codeonholiday backend. The app does contact third-party services for licensing, updates and model downloads; see the Privacy Policy for details.
