Summary
- Prompts, lyrics, generated audio and your Library are processed and stored locally on your Mac.
- LocalMelody does not operate a backend that stores your creative content.
- The app contacts third parties for licensing, updates and model/runtime downloads.
- Payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy; codeonholiday does not store payment card details.
Data stored on your Mac
LocalMelody stores its downloaded runtime and models, generated audio, lyrics, configuration and Library data in macOS Application Support. License credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain. This data remains under your control and is not uploaded to codeonholiday for storage.
Local generation and model services
Music, vocals and lyrics generation runs through local runtimes and models after setup. Ollama and model providers may be contacted when you download or manage models. Those services have their own privacy policies and terms.
License and payments
When you buy or activate LocalMelody Pro, the app may communicate with Lemon Squeezy to open checkout and activate, validate or deactivate a license. This can include a license key, an installation identifier and the basic information required by the licensing API. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing and checkout data.
Updates
LocalMelody uses Sparkle and GitHub-hosted release assets for update checks and downloads. These requests may include the app version, operating system information and network metadata required to deliver the update.
Website analytics
The codeonholiday website may use analytics services to understand aggregate website traffic. The LocalMelody app does not include advertising trackers or usage analytics.
Children and changes
LocalMelody is not directed at children under 13. We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated date on this page.
